Blossom Privacy Policy

Blossom is a to-do and self-care app made with love. Your privacy matters to us, so this policy is short and honest.

Last updated: 17 July 2026

The short version

Everything you put into Blossom — your tasks, notes, moods, and garden — stays on your device. We never see it, and we never sell anything.

The one thing that does leave your phone is a small amount of anonymous usage data (such as which onboarding step you stopped on), which helps us fix confusing parts of the app. Details are below.

What Blossom stores

All of your content — your tasks, lists, notes, moods, garden flowers, focus sessions, and settings — is saved only on your iPhone, in the app’s private storage. We have no accounts and no server that holds your content, and we never see any of it.

Anonymous usage analytics

To understand where people get stuck — for example, which onboarding step someone leaves on — Blossom sends a small amount of anonymous usage data to a private dashboard we run ourselves. This is how we find and fix confusing parts of the app.

What is sent:

  • A random, anonymous IDcreated on your device. It is not your name, email, Apple ID, or account, it isn’t linked to any of them, and we can’t use it to identify you.
  • Which step you reached — for example that an onboarding page appeared, that onboarding finished, that the subscription screen was shown or closed, or that a purchase completed — and when.
  • Basic technical context — the app version and how many seconds a session lasted.

What is never sent:

  • Your tasks, lists, notes, moods, garden, or anything else you write or create in the app.
  • Your name, email address, Apple ID, or payment details.
  • Any advertising identifier — Blossom contains no advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.

This data goes only to our own private dashboard, stored in a database hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt). It is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to build a profile of you. We use no third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics or Facebook.

Legal basis (GDPR). We rely on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in understanding and improving the app, using data that is anonymous and kept to the minimum needed. You have the right to object to this at any time — just email us at support@iosvisual.com.

Notifications

If you turn on reminders or the daily check-in, Blossom schedules those notifications locally on your device. No reminder content ever leaves your phone.

Face ID

If you enable the optional app lock, Blossom asks iOS to confirm it’s you with Face ID or your passcode. This happens entirely on your device; Blossom never receives your biometric data.

Purchases (Blossom Plus)

Blossom Plus subscriptions are handled entirely by Applethrough the App Store. Blossom uses Apple’s StoreKit to check whether you have an active subscription. We never see your name, payment details, or Apple ID. Apple’s handling of your purchase is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Children

Blossom is a general-audience app and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children — the only data the app sends is the anonymous usage data described above, which cannot identify anyone.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
