The short version
Facet has no accounts and no servers of our own. Your skin analysis, routine, and hairline photos stay on your device.
What Facet stores
Your onboarding answers, skin and hairline profile, routine, streak, and shelf are saved only on your iPhone. Hairline Lab photos are stored locally as well and are never uploaded anywhere.
Camera & photos
The Hairline Lab camera is used only to capture a photo you choose to take, guided by an on-screen framing overlay. Photos never leave your device and are never used for anything other than showing them back to you.

Facet is a self-care tool only. It does not provide medical or dermatological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified professional about skin or hair conditions.
Purchases (Facet Pro)
Facet Pro is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment — we never see your name, payment details, or Apple ID. Apple’s handling of your purchase is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Children
Facet is a general-audience app and does not knowingly collect data from children.
