Halo Privacy Policy
Halo does not collect any data. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.

What Halo accesses
To help you find and clear photos and videos taking up space, Halo asks for permission to access your photo library. With your permission, Halo reads, entirely on your device:
- Photo and video metadata: file size, date, dimensions, duration, and type.
- Thumbnails and previews, so it can show your media and play videos you tap.
Nothing is uploaded, transmitted, or sold. Halo has no network code for your media.
Deleting photos and videos
Halo never deletes anything on its own. Deletion is performed by Apple’s own Photos system with its own confirmation, and deleted items go to Recently Deleted for about 30 days.
What is stored on your device
A small amount of local, never-transmitted information: your appearance preference, a daily swipe count, and your Halo Plus purchase status. Deleting the app removes all of it.
Purchases (Halo Plus)
Halo Plus is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment — we never see your payment details. Halo uses StoreKit to check your purchase status on-device.
Third parties
Halo contains no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics, or crash reporting.
Children
Halo is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
